« Bizarrely designed but OK for my needs »

I'll give you my 'darkness' rating first. 5/5. Didn't need any tape! Design of the room was ridiculous, though. It's technically a large room, but so badly planned that it becomes small. EG you cannot get into 1 side of the cupboard because of the bedside table. The cupboard door about 3". Frustrating because this was the side to hang your clothes up in and with the drawers. They could have resolved this by reducing the size of the Kitchenette which was ridiculous and just full of empty cupboards and a barren worktop. Ho hum. Noise - the balcony doors do not reduce much of the road noise, which is obviously full of car horns. The bathroom was ok but small. Prepare to contort yourself in an aim to get into the shower. Internet. It's China, forget it. Use 4G if you can. Be careful with the laundry. I put my laundry in at around 7pm one evening and I was staying for another 2 nights. The form said "in by 12am back the next day". Turns out they got their AM/PM's wrong and they actually meant midday.. so midday the next day back by end of day the following day. Problem, I was checking out at 9am. This led to the hotel having to send my laundry to the factory I was visiting that day. Just beware.
