« Fantastic staff with laid back vibe »

We travelled as a family with two children. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mentions go to Gede and Nyoman (guest relation staff), Wayan and Lia (Lumbung restaurant) for making us feel very comfortable during our stay and serving us with a smile. The hotel is set in surrounding rice fields with a great natural surrounding. The food they prepare both breakfast and dinners were highly satisfying with a great range of culinary delights. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Ubud area. We would definitely come here again!

« Great trip »

The whole stay was great, from the best breakfast with a Bali sparkling wine to the hotel staff who could not do enough for the guests, the have S shuttles that goes every two hours but if there are to many people the will put on another, the staff are very friendly and will go out of there way to help. The only thing I will nitt pick about is, it would be good to have a toilet brush for your room, but that is the only thing we could complain about. The resort is one of the best I have ever stayed at. Would come back time and time again.

« Great resort in Ubud. Gym with awesome view. »

I regret that I couldn't stay at least 1 more night here. I stayed only one night here and enjoyed it. The place is in middle of paddy fields with good view. I booked this place after seeing the picture of gym in TripAdvisor photos :) Room is contemporary and looks excellent. I think they have universal plugs which helps for international travelers. One downside IMO was that swimming pool is near reception/lobby/restaurant and away from rooms/villas and the pool is relatively small. People who prefer privacy may not like it. We had dinner at Hotel itself but I felt that Menu is limited. Better option is to take shuttle from hotel to Ubud (<10 mins travel by vehicle) and have dinner there. Breakfast was good but may not be at same scale as the ones in big hotels/resorts in Nusa Dua. If you stay here for at least 2 days you can cover the temples and other nearby places/activities on the northern side of Island with less travel. You can spend more days too since there are lot of places to explore.

« Best resort in Ubud to relax but need improvement in approach »

I visited this resort to celebrate my anniversary & have a relaxing trip. Place is awesome without any doubt if you wish to relax and explore ubud local culture. But I really don’t understand taking advance amount 1,500,000.00 IDR before you checkin & not refunding on time as well & focusing on when is checkout date and even when as guest has not checked in. When I person has gone five star resort so he would have capabilities to pay. I have visited multiple luxury properties but never asked advance amount. Also I would request resort management to allow your guest to enjoy and explore. People are amazing to provide service and make your stay worth while. You will not find any Indian food at this resort.
