« Excellent and Warm Customer Service »

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Oka, the front desk manager. She is by far the warmest front desk manager we've met. She fondly recalled her experiences meeting fellow Filipinos when she was in Maldives and Carribean. The check-in process was fast and smooth. After that, we were brought to our room on the first floor fronting the pool. We were surpised to see how spacious the room is. Not only that, the toilet and bath is equally spacious. I was disappointed though by the tray of fruits. There were just 3 pcs of tropical fruit-a snake fruit that already has molds on it, an overripped rambutan, and a local jeruk. I was supposed to call the housekeeping to request for a new tray. However, since I was already starving, we decided to try their restaurant. The foods are a bit pricey but I love the fresh salad and pizza. On our second night, my wife tried the Paella but it tasted like an ordinary arroz valenciana--without the typicall meat and seafoods found in an "authentic" spanish paella. Since the hotel is still very new with few guests, the place is extraordinarily peaceful and serene. There were only 4 or less people bathing in the pool especially during late afternoon, which we particularly liked. On our last day, the restaurant staff pulled a little surprise for my birthday. Good thing there were only about 6 or less people in the restaurant. Though I am not for this kind of surpise, they deserve commendation for making sure their guest extra special.

« Amazing Staff »

We stayed here on a scoopon deal for a week in the family suite which was massive and overlooked the beautiful pool. The food was great however a little pricey once all the taxes and service fees were applied. However the chef was more than happy to accommodate any needs you had. The cooking class is a must! What made this place memorable was the AMAZING staff. They couldn’t be more helpful, friendly and welcoming. I can’t remember everyone’s names but the front desk staff, restaurant staff and the chef were incredible. Definitely the biggest asset of the resort. This was our first time in jimbaran and it was a pleasant stay...

« Highly recomended »

Although I personally would not rate this hotel as 5 star, it is a very good 4 star plus. Macaroons and fruit platter on arrival to our room was unexpected but a welcomed inclusion and very tasty. The staff are fantastic, friendly and professional. The food is delicious and service is impeccable. The buffet breakfast has everything you could wish for and the omelettes are a stand out. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with all the amenities you could wish for, great nights sleep. The gym is a little small and would benefit from air conditioning as the fan doesn't quite cut it. Very relaxing and high quality massages. Great selection of delicious cocktails. The pool area is well maintained in lush tropical gardens. The resort is more than walking distance from Jimbaran town, although the hotel does offer a shuttle service in the afternoon, and Uber or taxi's are not expensive. The resort backs onto Ayana resort, so you have a short walk to experience a Rock Pool sunset. It is also well placed for exploring the beautiful beaches of the Bukit Peninsula including Iluwatu, Padang Padang, Dreamland beach and the seafood dining on Jimbaran beach. I will certainly return to this fantastic resort in the future.

« Best hotel ever!! »

We are in the middle of our week long stay at the Royal Tulip and we are loving it!! We feel like we’re amongst family with the staff being so incredibly friendly, caring and easy going. Nothing is too much trouble and our every wish is catered for without hesitation. Our 8 yo son was sick and so Widi (the manager) organised a doctor to do a visit to our hotel within an hour. She organised so many things for us which made everything so easy and relaxing. The family suite was SO spacious and clean with a brilliant shower and life saving air conditioning. The pool is fabulous! They serve the BEST latte I’ve had in a hotel in Bali - very important for a fulfilling holiday!! I could seriously write forever about the wonderful staff and the amazing hotel facilities but I’m limited so....thank you Widi, the GM (a lovely German chap whose name I can’t recall), Parwita, Riris, Adi (the creator of the yummiest new cocktail - The Green Royale!!), and everyone else whose names I can’t remember (or spell 🙈) - you’re all amazing!! My only complaint is that we didn’t get to stay long enough :-((( Thank you SO MUCH 😘😘😘😘
