« Not as noisy as downtown hotels »

Except for the announcement of praying hours by loudspeakers, as in other muslim countries, this one in Stontown was not as noisy as downtown hotels. Combine visit with other visits nearby, like Palace Museum, Old Fort, and it,s worthy!

« Great Place to launch out the Zanzibar Holiday »

Stayed in this hotel with my family and we had a wonderful experience, the staff was friendly and welcoming. The booking communication before we arrived was well handled and our room was ready when we arrived. Greatly for Esther and Chris in the restaurant for making our stay comfortable. Talking with the staff and reception helped us get comfortable and staff were willing to make sure we were fine. Restaurants are close by too- Forodhani Park in the evenings and Freddy Mercury's Restaurant. The location is nice and allows you to explore stone town on foot.

« Comfortable stay and grate service »

We stay over in stone town for transit, the hotel location is very good just next to main attraction of Stone Town and couple minutes walk to old town. The room are simple with air-conditioning, hot shower etc. Breakfast is serve at magnificent rooftop garden with panoramic view of the city. The manager of the hotel Sara and Yuri done an excellent job arranging for us island tour, swim with dolphins and they also help to reserve a few good restaurants in the island for us as well, which we enjoy so much, thanks guys !

« Very basic hotel »

Good if you want just a room, food was bad. All in all I wish we hadn't stayed for so long in stone town! Stay in a resort in. Nungwi, paje or east/south coast. You can do all the tourist stuff as excursions from a resort. We went on to stay at Hilton double tree nungwi and wish we came there first!

« Perfect Location nice staff but Bad Internet »

Spent 4 Nights at the boutique hotel in January. It was my first time in Zanzibar and it was actually nice. The location is perfect in the middle of stone town so we could walk around town instead of going with cars. It is close to everywhere you need to check out n stone town especially the forodhani gardens (Night food market). The hotel is infant of the ferry port if you are coming by ferry. The hotel is a bit old fashioned so don't expect so much. The internet was a major problem it was almost not working which is something the management should look into. The service was good. I did not like the breakfast buffet selection however the view is nice from the rooftop restaurant. It gets noisy especially in the morning you would hear the noise from the streets.
