« Lovely memories at Golden Tulip »

The golden tulip in Nizwa was captivating to say the least. The hotel exuded excellence; from the Moroccan dècor which was very reminiscent of Casablanca, to the ornate Omani touches by the corridors. I particularly loved the interior decor, namely the beautiful flower arrangements at the entrance and at the restaurant as well. The hotel’s lighting was also stunning by nightfall. The fantastic swimming pool and the amiable staff were an added bonus to our beautiful stay. I’d like to particularly mention DinDin and Nandana from the restaurant and Fay from reception for their kind efforts.

« Great food »

Food is excellent! Although it could work on serving own products (like ice cream instead of store bought). Service is overall good. Furniture though is outdated (dining hall) and could use a more modern twist. Carpets in conference hall need cleaning or replacement.

« Relaxing stay »

This hotel is located a bit away from Nizwa. The lobby and public areas very spacious and nicely decorated. Great outdoor facilities, which are ideal for families. The Food is OK but nothing over the top. The rooms are very clean and spacious with a nice patio to sit outside. Good TV program. The complimentary WiFi was poor. The hotel offers high speed internet access at a cost during a time when almost every cafe and restaurant in town is offering free internet access - outdated! The staff was very friendly and courteous.
