Terrible place, lucky we where the for one night only. I know the Golden Tulip chain, this is probably the worst of the worst. We had no choice in picking something else, this was part of the group tour and we had no say but write a bad review. there are so many flaws...it will take me forever to point them all. Funny the hotel doesn't looks bad from outside, but dirty street and surroundings, The view from the hotel is atrocious, see my pictures. Restaurant is a disgrace, I have never seen such a filthy place. Again, lucky one night goes by fast. The bottom line, if are to lay out your own itinerary and book your own hotel, skip this all together.

Not our first choice but since other hotels in downtown were fully booked (at least those what our travel agency sells), and did not want to got to Tala Bay, we ended up to Golden Tulip. Dirty all over the hotel! We stayed there for a week and never saw eg hotel floors clean. Needed to ask for towels and toilet paper few times as the cleaning staff hadn't left anything after "cleaning". And rather poor breakfast as well... Avoid! Use only if you do not have any other choices!

We had to have our room changed as the first room had a very stained mattress and was in generally poor condition. We were moved to a suite with sea views.Much better. This Hotel has seen better days and is in a central position near restaurants.

Rooms on the front of the hotel overlook a building site and a mosque, very noisy! The hotel is not too far from anything and is one of the highest buildings in the town, so it is easy to find. Somewhat outdated. Reasonable breakfast
