Autogrill Oosterhout

A few minutes from the city of Breda, the Tulip Inn Oosterhout is right next to the A27 highway, making it easily accessible for guests travelling to and from the hotel. On the edge of Biesbosch National Park, the Tulip Inn is in a leafy area making for a peaceful visit for business and leisure travellers. The hotel has 63 3 star hotel rooms, each with Wi-Fi internet access, and a full-service restaurant, too.

The 63 rooms are divided into Standard, Superior, Superior Plus, Deluxe Business and Executive Rooms, plus there's one room designed for disabled guests. The large bathroom has a separate bathtub, and the rooms come with Wi-Fi, TVs, telephones, table and chairs. The Executive Rooms are excellent for business travellers as they add a little more space to the 3 star hotel rooms, with additional amenities like a trouser press and hairdryer.

The restaurant Flavours has room for 88 people and there's also an onsite bar for your evening nightcap. Guests can take advantage of the free parking and the 24-hour front desk which makes check-in a breeze no matter what time you arrive. There is Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and business guests can book any of the six meeting rooms for their events or conferences.

In the heart of Benelux, the Tulip Inn Oosterhout is easy for its guests to reach, as it's close to both Rotterdam and Antwerp. The area is leafy, being right next to the Biesbosch National Park, and yet the hotel is nearby the A27, giving it a great location for both convenience and attractiveness. For guests with free time, one of the country's most popular attractions, the amusement park Efteling, is located close to the 3 star hotel rooms.

« Good for a visit to the area »

Conveniently positioned next to the A27 motorway, this is our second visit to this hotel, the Dominos which was on site last year has closed down There are even more Tesla charging points in the car park which is useful if you have one. Check in was quick and easy as ever, and while the hotel corridors still had a somewhat 80's air about them, the Superior room itself was up to date and very clean with very comfortable bed and modern lcd tv. The Bathroom had a bath and shower separate, and while clean, is now looking rather tired, but the shower was hot and powerful. We did not use the restaurant on this stay Breakfast last time was included in the room rate, however on this visit it is 14 euros per head, which I personally feel is too expensive, especially considering the breakfast options nearby. Service was very good throughout our stay and would still unhesitatingly recommend staying here.

« What else?! »

The choices when in Oosterhout are not great. Same applies to hotels and restaurants, especially when you arrive late. The staff was very nice, a huge fish tank by reception desk, definitely makes it memorable. Food at the hotel restaurant was OK, though we only had burgers. Beer in contrary was splendid!
