Now right off the bat to be fair, the hotel is in the middle of no where and a good 10/15 minute walk to the metro, even from the metro you are around 20 minutes worth of stops away from the things you will / would want to do in Amsterdam. Location aside, my fiancée and I found the hotel to be of very good standard, the room size was fairly large as was the bathroom. The shower was surprisingly well powered. The plugs in the room were not greatly positioned (in this age we all have something we need to charge / use plugged in) so this was a slight negative. The bed consisted of to (really soft) single beds. Reception will happily organise more pillows if needed. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bar man (unfortunately didn't get his name, but he was young maybe early 20's and wore glasses) was absolutely fantastic and is a credit to the hotel. Overall we had a great 2 night stay. Thank you to all the staff for their hospitality.
