« Great option of accommodation »

One of the best 4* hotels in Bishkek with excellent location. Highly recommended. Staff is highly experienced. Food is delicious. Rooms are big enough with good interior. Possible to book one day tours at the reception upon wish.

« Great Place to stay for English speakers! »

This hotel is comfortable and friendly! The staff are great! They really go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The restaurant is good too! The front desk can arrange just about anything you need -- laundry, taxi service, help with English, etc. I highly recommend staying here!

OK place in a nice area of the city. Could have more conveniences. WI/FE is good. Food was fairly expensive compared to other places. Room service was OK, not great but it was fast. location was near a shopping center and close to the main streets and other places. Was able to walk around the city . It was a safe location

« Truly a home away from home »

I stayed at the Golden Tulip -Bishkek over a month during this holiday season. This boutique hotel was very cozy, comfortable and accommodating. Overall, a great quality for its value. Friendly, well-trained staff extending from the top management to the house keeping staff were impressive. I particularly enjoyed the amenities of the hotel and want to thank the General Manager Mr. Poggi and Front Office Manager Aurthur for their attention to details and attentiveness. Truly a professional hoteliers. JA

« Overall very good experience »

The strength of this hotel is in the service though this is not generalized. The waiters and waitresses at the Forbes restaurant are extremely kind and customer-oriented. At the lobby level, it is more of a mixed bag. One crew is fantastic - sincere smiles, helpful, service-oriented. But a different team is more on the frosty and stern side. Food at the Forbes is quite good - breakfast selection is a buffet when the hotel is busy and smaller set of options on weekends though you can order pancakes or eggs a la carte. For other meals, the Lebanese mezzes are quite decent and good value. The lentil soup is also excellent. As a vegetarian, I was quite happy. Rooms are comfortable with the exception of temperature control. I was on the 4th floor and the temperature climbed to 26C which for me is uncomfortable. I ended up putting a suitcase in front of the window and opening it partially so that the temperature fluctuated between 20C and 22C which is a better range for me to be able to sleep. Avoid higher floors if you want cooler rooms. The gym is tiny but since I was the only one who used it, it worked. It has a treadmill and step machine, a few light weights and a universal trainer. My main issue with this hotel is that it does not appear to be tobacco free and so you can expect second hand smoke in your room from time to time. As a former smoker myself, I am less tolerant. They need to sort this out whether or not this is tolerated in Kyrgyzstan. All in all though, this is a well run property with good service and I would return.
