Tulip Inn Leiderdorp Exterieur

Close to Leiden and The Hague, the Tulip Inn Leiderdorp has 60 3 star hotel rooms for guests travelling on business or pleasure. There are six conference rooms and all are served by the hotel's Wi-Fi, which can also be accessed in the rooms and common areas of the Tulip Inn. Flavours is the hotel's a la carte restaurant and there's the bar De Taverne for a drink in the evening.

The 3 star hotel rooms are spacious and modern, with large bathrooms. Wi-Fi access and large working desks make the rooms suitable for business travellers, and there are also TVs, telephones, and French balconies. The five Executive Rooms are brilliant for guests on prolonged stays, offering extra space, a living area, and one even features a Jacuzzi. All rooms at the Tulip Inn Leiderdorp are non-smoking.

There are 250 free parking places at the Tulip Inn Leiderdorp, which is great not only for guests, but for attendees of events held in the six meeting rooms of the hotel. Flavours is the hotel's onsite restaurant and there's also a bar, De Taverne. Coffee Corner serves cakes, sandwiches and - unsurprisingly - coffee, which you can enjoy while browsing the internet using the hotel's free Wi-Fi. Bike rental is also offered by the Tulip Inn, which is wonderful for getting out into the countryside.

One must-do activity around the Tulip Inn Leiderdorp is checking out the amazing bulb fields, for which the Netherlands are famed. The historic city of Leiden is nearby, where you can take a boat trip down the canals and visit one of the world's biggest natural history museums, Naturalis. You can also go cycling, walking and fishing in the surrounding area, or visit Amsterdam and The Hague, both of which are easily accessible.

« Good, perfectly satisfactory »

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a football exchange with the local club. Cost reasonable, breakfast decent continental buffet, although things tend to run out towards the end of the eating window. Dinner menu limited and not cheap, but the steak was very nice. On the outskirts of leiderdorp, not particularly handy for anything apart from McDonalds (50 yards away) , a pancake house restaurant (across the road although a 10 minute walk to get there because of the roads and canal in the way) and the hospital (about 10 mins walk away). There is a decent shopping mall in the town, about 15-20 mins away.
