« Nice stay »

Room was not to a 4 star standard but okay for a weekend away. The river is beautiful and you can sit out there during the day and it is in close proximity to a train station. There is a woods nearby which is lovely to walk through. Overall nice stay and would probably go again.

« First-rate Stay, worth the money, easy to book, good at everything »

I am staying in Amsterdam for 2 nights, so i booked the Tulip Inn Amsterdam Riverside. The location was not great, but at least it have a river view and the street view. The room was clean, good lighting, great presentation and bed work. This is a bit too good for a 4-star hotel. The restaurant's breakfast was superb, lots of variety and good quality. The check-in and check-out was clear, no confusion there! Overall, good rooms, worth the money and you can easily visit there. Good job, hotel. Keep it up!

« Decent stay »

The room was adequate but not great. The hotel was probably understaffed as everything took time. Breakfast for vegetarians was sparse but probably expected. The staff in the restaurant were helpful. Location of the hotel was ideal with a lovely place to stay on the banks of the river. lovely to sit on the river bank and enjoy the view. All in all, stay if there are no other options.

« Lovely stay »

Stayed here July 2017 it's called tulip inn riverside/ golden tulip so no one gets confused while booking it's the same thing. Had a really lovely stay here such nice staff very helpful and polite. Rooms are up to date very clean... You also get a hair dryer in the bathroom. I never got on the train or tram to dam square but I know that it's not to far the hotel will give you some directions to the station.... I got a taxi to the Amsterdam city station which should have cost be around €38 but it's way to pricey for taxis so all you have to do is bid them down to €20 which we got each time some may argue but stick your ground as its only a 20 minute car journey. You have a lovely river behind the tulip in building would recommend everyone to walk along it as it has such lovely views and there is also somewhere to sit outside while it's hot. Would recommend anyone to stay here if you like to have somewhere warm and cosy to stay while in Amsterdam.
