« Abou Auof - excellent Egyptian restaurant »

Abou Auof is the oriental restaurant at Concorde Elie Salam Hotel, which includes several others. I ate during my stay several times at Abou Auof, and the food was consistently delicious. They offer a special menu which included chicken stuffed with nuts and raisins. This was one of best Egyptian dishes I had. The atmosphere is authentic and very cosy. Service is courteous and friendly. The restaurant is particularly full at night with people smoking shisha, if you enjoy it, but it can be annoying for non smokers.

« Fantastic stay »

We stayed for three weeks May.2017, we were picked from the airport by the hotel shuttle bus, which was very good and convenient, also the hotel representer helped us with paper work needed. Staff are very polite and pleasant , always ensure that we were okay and comfortable. The business centre provides a very high level of quality service, specially Ms Josephine , their prompt follow up is unreal to ensure that our needs were fulfilled. Do not miss eating at Abou Auf restaurant, excellent food with friendly service. Only thing I wish they apply is No Smoking rules in the reception area, it was too much of smoke. We for sure will go back.

« A warm & familiar place »

We had been regular guests at all restaurants of this hotel for a long time. It is very close to Cairo airport and, although it is located close to a crowded area, yet it is quite secluded as it has a fairly long entrance road leading to the hotel building. Once you go in, you forget about the hectic roads outside and you can enjoy the open air area with beautiful royal palm trees and the warm swimming pool. The atmosphere is so pleasant day and night. Eating at this hotel is a 100% safe experience. It is so clean and the food is delicious. All the restaurants offer excellent Italian, Egyptian, and international food. Summer nights are marked by the best barbecue in Cairo served by the Kebabgi. My husband is a hard critic of food, but when it comes to chef Abdel Fattah, he only has poetic words to say. I agree with him as the guy is truly special. The staff are so friendly and attentive, making an excellent connection with all guests. We see the same faces all the time and I take that as a good sign that they please their regular guests. The senior staff members, Maitre Hafez and Maitre Adel are always everywhere closely monitoring the young staff members & making sure their guests are happy & satisfied. It is a warm and familiar place.
