TRAVEL GUIDE
Visit Dar es Salaam for two days
To discover Dar es Salam is to open up to a culture, history and heritage that is as eclectic as it is fascinating. On your first day, head out from your hotel near the national museum of Tanzania to see all the treasures of the city. Stroll through the bustling alleys and don’t miss the historic site of the Clock Tower, the Uhuru monument and the Azania Front Lutheran Church. After a night of rest in one of our 4-star hotels, head south. You will cross the Kigamboni Bridge, which spans Kurasini Cove, to pass from the center to the eastern region of the city. Your day will then continue in the heart of the zoo, a place not to be missed in Dar es Salam: you will discover Tanzanian flora and fauna and have surprising animal encounters!

Best beaches in Dar es Salam
From our 4-star hotels in Dar es Salam, discover the most beautiful beaches in the region. If you like lively and exciting places, head for the popular Coco Beach or the festive Mbalamwezi Beach. If you are on an excursion to the neighboring islands, spread out your towel on one of the immense expanses of white sand of Mbudya or Bongoyo, small havens of peace with calm and crystal-clear waters. Heading north, you will find less frequented beaches, but they are just as magnificent: those of Mbezi, Bahari and Jangwani. Be aware that the beaches of Ungunja Island, better known as Zanzibar, are also worth a visit! After a great day between lazing around and swimming, there is nothing better than a good dinner at one of our Golden Tulip restaurants to taste Tanzanian cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
