« Best place in Heerenveen »

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Service was very friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast offers everything one could ask for. The hotel is located in a park 3km from the city center, so its very quiet at night andt there is almost no traffic at daytime.

« Nice cozy relaxed hotel »

Cozy little hotel in the back woods of Heerenven. One can go cycling through the forest and enjoy serene and beautiful forest cover. There are very nice walking paths around the forest which are quite healthy and refreshing. The water canals near the town are quite interesting to go around. The breakfast at this hotel is okay, wish that there was more breakfast spread and more warm food. The evening are very pleasant and one can sit in the open air restaurant or the balcony of the rooms.

« A secluded relaxing Dutch hotel »

Nice, low-rise hotel in woodland area. Staying on business, there was not enough time to explore all on offer, but the evening set meal, (Mackerel tapas starter, Pan fried Salmon and sweet) was all well presented and delicious as was the self-service style breakfast selection. The rooms were located on either the 1st or ground floor. Room 015 was MASSIVE, compared with similar hotels, and offered all the usual amenities, (TV, En-suite bath AND shower etc). Well done Tjaarda Oranjewoud, I look forward to a longer visit next time.
