« Genial! »

« Good hotel, less good the price and the service... »

I had only a night in this hotel. the room are big enough and clean. The place is nice, relaxing. I would like to spend more days there and enjoy the swimming pool and the rest of the attractions. The area is probably one of the best in Tunisia. Safety very good, compared to cities more south, like Mahdia, or Monastir... This hotel is built in the middle of the Cartage ruins, it is very nice. Unfortunately too far from the beach to walk. The service is less nice than the place. Well, this doesn't means that is bad, but just that could be better (I mean a bit more polite ;) ). Anyway the overall is very good and I could go there again. During the night I was enjoying the evening, just outside the back door, with the splendid view and I have ordered a whiskey, black label, it costed to me 80 din. About 40 dollars. Too expensive even if they have delivered the little glass to my room, and most of all, believe me, the quantity of liquid in the glass was almost invisible ( At this point I don't know if it was really a black label or not...)
