« Suitable for summer vacation »

We spent 5 nights in the hotel in the summer of 2016. At that time, the hotel had just been inaugurated. It is located at the vast beach of "marsa ben mhidi". The hotel in terms of facilities and amenities has nothing to envy to international hotels I had the chance to visit elswehere. The service was good overall, except an undecent behavior of one of the receptionists during the check-in. I would put that down though to the novicehood of the staff. The pool is excellent and the person in charge was very professional. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The room service was flawless, we highly appreciated how fast they provided us with a baby cot when we asked for it. The only pitfall was the footbridge that leads to the beach which was not safe at all. Less importantly, the unique lift was not convenient given the high number of guests, luckily we were staying in the first floor. I would recommend the hotel and will not personally miss the opportunity to stay there again.

« Wonderful stay in the most elegant hotel. »

From the welcome at the reception to the time of departure ,the service offered was admirable. The staff is exceptionally courteous, accommodating and professional. We were given a beautiful spacious suite with stylish contemporary furniture .Everything was sparkling clean and soap, shampoo, conditioner, gel, body cream ,beautiful towels ect were provided. The pool area was very nice and enjoyable with just enough music and food service. The hotel had also a private beach and had numerous TV channels with a language choice ! It is worth to note that the breakfast /brunch was out of this world. It was a great combination of local fruits, pastries including crispy croissants ,petits pains au chocolat ,doughnuts ect to all kinds of salads ,eggs ,sausages We really enjoyed seating on the patio with the ocean view. In the evening we ordered food service and it was a great experience. we had the tagliatelle with shrimps the Algerian salad ,the chicken brochettes tandoori ...everything was generously served and simply delicious. Royal Tulip made our stay in Skikda a pleasure . We will return in a heart beat ! Thank you to all for finally giving the town a hotel that is truly five stars.

« Impressive!! »

I spend two nights at this hotel and I can tell you I had a wonderful experience, was nicely welcomed by professional staff at the Lobby I still remember their names ( Samah and Mehdi) they made our check-in and check-out very smooth and easy, I honestly wasn't expecting a service of that level in Skikda. The Room was big, clean and very comfortable, the wifi was working well and TV channels were diversified, but my crash was definitely the terrace with its beautiful view on Jeanne d'Arc large beach, I actually spend half of my time enjoying the pure air and listening to the waves. I didn't have the chance to try the two restaurants (Italian and the American) but will definitely come back to spend more time there and enjoy all what this nice hotel can offer. I highly recommend staying in this hotel for all kind of trips,

« Luxury comes to Skikda »

My wife, my 2.5 year old daughter and I spent 4 nights at the Royal Tulip at the end of September. It was very much low season and the hotel was almost empty. We had a really nice stay and enjoyed the hotel facilities as well as the lovely aqua park next door. Pros: the hotel was recently build to high specifications and it shows: clean, specious with a luxury feel. There are two swimming pools and we had hem both to ourselves. The rooms are spacious and they provided us with a really nice and sturdy travel cot for our daughter. The breakfast buffet has pretty much anything you'd want apart from pork products (Muslim country). Finally, the staff were very courteous. Cons: it may seem like a small thing but the quality of the coffee at the breakfast buffet was average. They use automatic coffee machines that I associate with 3 star hotels in Spain. My recommendation to the hotel would be to get quality beans and serve filter coffee. The other thing is he price of the lunch buffet didn't make sense to me at all. It cost 7,000DZD for two people for the buffet while we managed to eat a la carter for 4,000DZD. Overall, we would be happy to recommend the hotel. As an Algerian who lives in the U.K., it is a perfect solution for my family to go back home and enjoy a quality beach holiday.
