« Tranquility on the bay »

This resort is located in the middle of tranquility somewhere on the longest beach of the World between Coxsbazar and Teknaf. The resort is comfortable. There are arrangements of outdoor sports like tennis, badminton, beach volley ball etc. There is an indoor game zone for the children as well. There are 2 swimming pools. The food served in the restaurants is good. However there are some serious drawbacks as well. The TV programs are transmitted from Coxsbazar 36 kms away. It was interrupted twice during our 3 day stay. I can't even imagine no TV transmission for hours in a five star hotel! But that's what had happenen twice in 3 days. The hotel has a small piece of the beach designated for the boarders. However thanks to the isolated location, there would be hardly any outsiders on the beach except in the weekends (Fridays). The beach here is somewhat rocky due to corals. But there are swim-able areas as well. The hotel offers regular shuttle to Coxsbazar town and airport for a small fee (BDT 190 or US$ 2.25)

« Good Experience. »

Although a little far from the town, but the fact that they have a private beach makes it good enough for me. It’s clean, much cleaner than the beach sides around other hotels I’ve been to in Coxs Bazaar. A little expensive but kind of worth it. The best part is the swimming pool!
