Located in a former monastery, the Golden Tulip De Reiskoffer offers 4 star accommodation in Bosschenhoofd. Spread across two buildings, it is set in a small town, surrounded by leafy woodland, and is a perfect weekend break destination for both Dutch and international visitors. There are 56 guestrooms and one of the two restaurants is set in the old chapel, and despite the building's old, historic exterior, you'll find thoroughly modern amenities such as Wi-Fi, a Jacuzzi and a wellness centre.

The 56 4 star rooms at the Golden Tulip De Reiskoffer come with twin beds, large balconies or terraces, a desk for business travellers and free Wi-Fi access. There are TVs, telephones, safes, and minibars, too. Guests can request single or double use of the rooms, and families may have up to two extra beds added to the rooms for their children.

Ideal for a business retreat, there are 12 boardrooms at the Golden Tulip De Reiskoffer, the largest of which holds up to 150 people. For those with more leisurely intensions, guests of the 4 star accommodation can make use of the hotel's sauna, Jacuzzi, and Turkish bath, and there are also outdoor tennis courts. The unique restaurant is located in the original chapel of the old monastery, which makes for a really atmospheric dining experience.

Located in a small town surrounded by beautiful forests, the Golden Tulip De Reiskoffer can benefit from its seclusion while offering guests easy access to and from cities like Rotterdam, Antwerp, Roosendaal and Breda. Reachable by taking the A58 and A17 motorways, there are lots of free parking spaces at the 4 star accommodation, which makes the hotel as convenient as it is quiet and tranquil.

« Great location and friendly service »

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend and it was a very nice experience. The rooms were clean and roomy, although in a separate building than the monastry. The monastry itself was very atmospherical, well decorated and both restaurant and breakfast hall (located in the chapel) were absolutely great. The sauna was also in great shape, with both a steam room and a sauna itself. The service was very friendly and helpful at all times, and helped us pick out great walks around the area. Every single one employee did their best to make us feel comfortable. Really worth it to stay here for a long weekend! (Also visit Oudenbosch, a more interesting place than you'd think close by!)

« Nice weekend get-away »

Our staying —— + spacious rooms + perfect location for visits + fantastic staff + no real negative points Conclusion: nice hotel for a weekend or midweek The room —— The rooms are not in the main building but near the parking. They can use an update decoration wise (carpet, old drapes), but they are really spacious and clean. They are quite and beds are comfortable so you’ll have a good night rest. The bathroom is okay. Perhaps a shower would be good for people less mobile. The travel quotes everywhere and travel duck are cleaver and make it fun. The restaurant—— We ate dinner an evening in the chapel and one in the restaurant. The first evening it was a complete asperges menu, which we liked. The waiter and chef are top! This kind of personnel is an example and dream come true for every restaurant ! The second day we had starters on the beautiful sunny terrasse and diner itself inside. Breakfast was ok, enough choice. Some guest had to eat in the room next to the chapel for not enough space. This room also needs an update. The location —— Another point we love about this hotel is its location! - Day 1: local agriculture. We visited an asperges and wine farmer (listen, watch, taste) and a dairy shop with local products (we almost bought every product in it shop to eat at home and its was delicious). We also visited the basilica (you can also walk up in the dome). - Day 2: cycling. We rented bikes in the hotel (these bikes are really good) and started the biking tour which starts some meters of the hotel. This tour we can recommend to everyone: beautiful nature, good cycling infrastructure and possibilities to take a refreshing break. - Day 3: shopping: It’s close to Breda. Lovely city, cosy and vibrant ambiance, nice shops.

« Proper Hotel , Proper Breakfast , Very Friendly Staff »

Been here for a weekend break for Carnavals in Noord Braband. Hotel location is good 15 mins drive to Breda, Bergen op Zoom and less than 10 mins to Roosendaal. Hotel room is very spacious, it looked a bit dated but it has a avant-garde style which we found it classic and nice. Clean room , big Bathroom with a lovely Bathtub , great shower experience . Hotel room has it all whatever you need and more. Anything else feel free to talk Trained staff in Reception . All hotel staff was very friendly to us . Had a big selection of breakfast foods , and there is something for everyone in that breakfast. There is conference area in the hotel i believe it is a perfect choice for a distinctive business events. Well overall it is a tidy , knit , clean hotel with very friendly staff. Especially the lady in front desk working in the morning. Thanks for the lovely stay. Tips to do near hotel : first you may wish to collect some free parking ticket ( Noord Braband discount cards are collectablecib the hotel ) for Rosada Outlet Center and such other museum and events. Roosendaal And its carnaval. Roosendaal passage a little italy , Breda Groot Kerk is an amazing church to see. Aviation museum near hotel and a football museum . Enjoy ur travel in Noord Braband.
