Explore the art and culture of ancient Beirut, with its legendary nightlife and stunning Mediterranean backdrop, when you book a stay at the modern, luxurious Golden Tulip Galleria Lebanon Hotel. The hotel is ideally situated just 3 miles north of the international airport, in the heart of the residential Jnah district. This puts guests in close proximity to all the sights and attractions of bustling downtown Beirut, while providing a quiet, comfortable sanctuary.

There are 176 spacious, elegantly appointed rooms to choose from in the Golden Tulip Galleria Hotel. Room types include Standard and Executive, as well as three types of suites: Tulip, Flavour, and Presidential. Even the basic standard rooms offer 38 square metres of space, which makes them the largest in the city. Upgrade to the Executive level and you'll benefit from extra working space, which is ideal for business guests. Enjoy the plush surroundings and amenities such as a minibar, direct phone line, satellite television, private bathroom, ironing board and trouser press, and safety deposit box.

Business travellers can take advantage of the Golden Tulip Galleria Lebanon's extensive facilities and meeting rooms. This includes the palatial Sanaoubar Ballroom, with a capacity of up to 350 guests. Yet the hotel's not all business, and further facilities are strictly leisure-oriented, including a warming sauna and contemporary fitness club which are free to guests. If you've worked up an appetite, you can pay a visit to The Palms international buffet, or share a plate of spicy Tex-Mex cuisine in our friendly Champs sports bar.

The Golden Tulip Galleria Hotel is located in close proximity to a number of Lebanon's most desirable tourist attractions. It's a mere 100 metres from the beach, and not too far from the Byblos Mountains which offer a variety of winter sports and summer festivals. Located in the Jnah District, the hotel is surrounded by embassies and stately homes, yet provides easy access to downtown Beirut with its shopping, dining, and nightlife. The City Sports Stadium and Lebanon Golf Club are also nearby for sports aficionados to enjoy.

« A nice place, but little things could make it a lot better »

I stayed at this hotel for almost three weeks. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and quick to answer any questions. The hotel location itself is great and easy to get to and the free wifi was fast. The pharmacy on site was also very convenient. The areas that require improvement are: - stench of cigarettes. Even though I requested a non-smoking room, you can smell the cigarettes from past guests and those staying in adjacent rooms (through the air vents). Upon complaining, I was offered other rooms, however, they ALL smelt even worse. I appreciated the fact I was assisted immediately, however, I did not like the fact no solution actually came about. As an asthmatic, this caused be terrible discomfort. A room upgrade should have been offered when no equal room was found to be suitable. - the water in the rooms should be complimentary everyday, not just the first day. This is the first hotel I've ever stayed at that charged for water. It is disappointing that at a hotel of this standard a basic need like water isn't supplied free of charge like all other four star hotels. - there should be an ironing board and iron in every room. Clothes get rumpled being in suitcases, and, just like the complimentary water, this should be a basic in every room. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, however, I expected a lot better. For a four star hotel, customers pay the high price for quality and I did not get that. Either advertise as a three star hotel or implement further services to be worthy of being called four stars.
