« Pleasant surprise »

We arrived at the hotel for a two night stay before heading south for Christmas. We checked in at the hotel and we were directed to an off site two bedroom apartment that was described as superior but on arrival we were somewhat shocked to find the exterior of the building was a crumbling mess and the apartment itself was on a par with low budget student accommodation. The paint was flaking off the walls the furniture was old and of charity shop quality and the whole place was small and cramped - not superior. We returned to the main hotel reception and complained about the poor quality of the accommodation. The staff were friendly and helpful, and offered us rooms in the main hotel. Things improved greatly from there. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are not too spacious but they are not cramped either. They all have balconies or terraces. There was tea and coffee making facilities, and a refrigerator. The spa is very nice. It includes a steam room, sauna, saltwater swimming pool, an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a gym and a wide variety of treatments. The town is delightful and can easily be seen in a couple of hours on foot.

« Fantastic value »

We were staying at another hotel in Roscoff but wanted a spa type day. The hotel do a deal for €39 euros. A three course lunch. Day at the spa, pool, steam room, sauna, outside hot tub, couple saltwater pools. Brilliant. After the spa, you get a complimentary glass to champagne ... 39euros, a really good offer. We had a lovely afternoon. Take a swim cap and flip flops!

« lovely view »

As per some of the other reviews, the rooms are abit tired but the hotel itself is lovely and the possition couldn't be better. DEFINATELY worth the extra for the seaview!! Parking is secure but 100m away but not a problem as you can unload at the hotel and park later. Would for sure go back. Roscoff is GORGEOUS and i would highly recommend going out for dinner in the town - its worth the 5 min walk along the seafront.
