« Great service from the Guest Relations Manager »

We arrived for both business and later for leisure with the family. During our stay we were welcomed by warm and excellent service by Anna who is the Guest Relations Manager. The other time our key couldn't open and she quickly attended to us coming up herself to assist. Thank you for a lovely stay and thank you Anna for your awesome service!

« Nice business hotel, well situated »

It is a nice business hotel with a good and stable Wifi connection. Nice interior design and very friendly staff. Good service. Windows cannot be opened, and there is not garden, which is a pity. But a nice restaurant and a good bar in the 1st floor with reasonable prices. YaYa Shopping center within walking distance, so everything is available, someone will need. Procedures are a bit poor, but the nice staff alsways is helpful!

« Great Hotel - based on significant Nairobi experience »

I have formerly lived in, and now over many years frequently visited Nairobi for my work. I am very familiar with many of the moderately priced business/tourist hotels around the city. I recently stayed at the Royal Tulip for several weeks. I found the lodgings and staff excellent, and very flexible and accommodating in ensuring that my long stay was without problems. The General Manager himself took great pains to ensure a good stay. The food was good. The room very comfortable, particularly since I spend many full days in it working. The housekeeping staff and front desk and restaurant staff were all very friendly and professional. The gym and gym staff were excellent. One gym trainer, Eric, with whom I worked almost every day, saw to it that I came away notably more fit. Overall I felt the value for money was very good. I have already recommended that my colleagues and co-workers also stay there. The location is also very convenient to the Yaya center (8 minutes walk), many good restaurants, and in a good neighborhood where I felt safe walking, and did so often.

« New hotel around the corner of Yaya center »

I decided to try out this hotel given its location and the fact it is around the corner of our office in Laiboni center and walking distance from the Yaya Center. I am pleasantly surprised as it is real value for your money. It is very modern although the standard room is a little small, but with paying a little extra you can book an excellent and more spacious room. More important is the friendly service of the staff. They know their business and are directed by a very well qualified GM, who makes it a job to welcome all his guests and making sure nothing is lacking. One aspect should be mentioned too and that is the food. Breakfast is excellent and the coffee (cappuccino, coffee latte etc) outstanding. It has a spa and sport facilities. I have not used them this visit, but will do so next time. During the last years I have stayed fro business in many hotels in Nairobi but this one I definitely will use more often.
