« Nicer than I expected »

My room was reasonably comfortable and large. Considering I didn't go to stay in the room, it was fine. There was a kettle to boil water, tea and coffee provided free of charge and the hotel provided bottles of drinking water every day. The window was too small to really enjoy the sunshine, and the desk in the room was a bit small for trying to work - also only one plug. The breakfast was very nice. A wide array of local fresh fruit, made to order omelettes, pastries. The one evening meal I ate featured Lebanese food which was surprising very good. The bathroom was ridiculously and needlessly small. The toilet was tucked behind the sink making it very difficult to to get to. But the shower was nice - good water pressure and the hot water was always available quickly.

« Excellent staff, Delicious Food, Quiet Room »

Top notch staff: The kitchen crew are excellent - preparing delicious options (incl herring and borsht) and on-order omelets and the other usual. Several kitchen staff were also very helpful with accurate advice re sightseeing. The front desk was also very helpful and arranged a safe cab 3 times when walking wasn't an option given the location destination. Front staff briefed the driver to ensure the right destination was selected, since Kyrgyz and Russian are the primary cab driver languages. I also brought the destination written in Cyrillic and a map just to be sure and that was helpful for confirmation as well. The room was soothing and quiet. A hot water carafe provided optional tea or coffee when relaxing in the room. While commonly provided in East Asia, I discovered that a boiling water carafe was harder to obtain in Central Asian hotels and I appreciated it very much here. An ATM inside the lobby was extremely helpful to our group members as it made for easy safe withdrawals.

« nice and quiet »

Clean and quiet hotel, very friendly staff, especially Mirzohid and Nursaltah at the service desk were very helpful. Dinner at the restaurant: service provided by staff was excellent, however the CousCous was " particular" , not very moroccan, next time take the kebab or something from the region.

One of the best 4* hotels in Bishkek with excellent location. Highly recommended. Staff is highly experienced. Food is delicious. Rooms are big enough with good interior. Possible to book one day tours at the reception upon wish.
