« Our stay at the Golden Tulip was Golden, »

We had great service right from the concierge, restaurant staff and the cleaning staff. The room was well appointed, the food was delicious, and the shuttle service was friendly; our overall experience was wonderful. Thank you to Mr Al Sayed for allowing us to extend our checkout time to accommodate our flying time. Looking forward to our return in May inshallah. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a trip to this interesting city. Robynne and John from Canada

« Old but good »

It's and old hotel and the standard rooms' furniture is outdated. However, the bathroom was very clean and the bed very comfy. I had dinner at the Japanese restaurant downstairs and the sushi was good. Also, skip breakfast and go to Haji's Cafe at the souq down the road for a nice experience (its super cheap too).

« Surprisingly good »

After reading some of the latest reviews, I was a little bid scared staying at this hotel during my Stop- Over in Bahrain in December 2017. But I was really surprised: I was wellcomed very nicely by the very friendly receptionist. Everything was explained to me. My room, Ok, not the latest fashion, but very clean and everything worked properly. Excellent for a rest. The Seefood-Buffet Dinner, was very good and the attendance of the very friendly service staff extrordinary good. The music of a very nice Phillipina singer completed this nice evening. Mr. Abdulla and his team did an excellent job. For me it looks like, that the whole managment tries to improve the service. I can recommend thsi place.

« A good place to start discovering Bahrain »

We stayed here during our long stopover in Manama. The hotel has all the necessary facilities (a gym, a swimming pool, a sauna and spa, a copule of restaurants and so on), and provides breakfast, dinner (a nice one), a transfer from the airport and back, and a wake-up call (we had to get up early) for transit passengers. The location is awesome to discover the landmarks and sights of Manama. But still it's better to be a driver here in Bahrain, not a pedestrian. Thus, you can see everything you want within a couple of hours.
