« Bom hotel na zona »

Fiquei em trabalho e com pouco tempo para visitar o hotel mas os quartos são grandes, renovados e bastante confortáveis. Excelente espaço para pequeno almoço e bar... Ginásio muito pequeno com apenas 5-6 maquinas. Não consegui encontrar o Spa nem a piscina.

« Nice large rooms »

It was our first stay at a Golden Tulip hotel and it was very nice. Central to town with lots of bars and restaurants. Very nice and helpful reception staff and an added bonus they accept pets. Slow wifi but it was OK. The bathroom was a good size but had a separate tiny loo. Bar closed at 10.30 even though there were a few people still drinking. £25 for four galsses of wine was a bit excessive but the hotel bar was cosy and bright. Would stay there again. Did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on food. Free parking outside the hotel but car park does get busy. Kettle and real cups (and glasses) in the room which after staying at a couple of Mercure Hotels with their paper cups and plastic glasses was a real treat.

« Belley Up !! »

Business trip to Belly in France but chose to stay at the Golden Tulip in Aix-Les Bains. Spectacular surroundings at the location. Did not eat at the hotel as was with a large group that had pre booked elsewhere. Went out on June 21 amongst all of the Mid-Summers Day celebrations. Very busy with lots of mini music festivals going on. Had drinks at hotel as we chose to meet there 5 beers and a Coke - £54,00 which I thought was very expensive considering it was not a local brew but Carlsberg... and it want not even probably !! Would stay again at the hotel but need to be mindful of the prices. My colleagues room was £130 a night and I booked on the same day and I got mine for £169 a night. Hard t justify as they was not full.

« Good for the Town, not for the Lake »

This excellent hotel has all the facilities you would expect from the Golden Tulip Group. It is very well placed in the heart of the old town, right next door to the historic casino. It has private and secure parking. But to reach the Lake, you will need to drive or take a taxi.
