« Amazing View in Brasília »

5 days. Very easy check in and check out. The room was really comfy too. Sasha was very helpful about my room issues and a very smiling girl. It was my first time in Brazil for an international conference with my family from Colorado and I really loved the sceneries in the hotel. The food was really good and the friendly William had the perfect English to explain everything about the hotel, he was very gentle every day. I had only 1 problem with money exchange because the hotel is far from downtown and I had to take a very long Uber only to find a place to exchange it but in general this hotel feels like a true paradise.

Lovely hotel just outside of the city center on the lake. I booked a room with a lake view and loved the sunsets over the pool and lake. This is a gated resort with a fairly small grounds so don't expect to do much walking within the compound. This hotel is just around the corner from the Presidents house so a walk down the street is pretty safe and nice. Amenities were good, breakfast was vast and well stocked. I got a second key card for the room and kept the AC running all day so it was cool when I got back to the room. It is the European style power where the power in the room goes off when you take the key out ... but there is a cure for that. The only aspect of my stay that was a little odd were the 20 or 30 military and security personnel that were always in the lobby or outdoors outfront. There were some hotel guests there that represented ministries or other very high level officials (there for the World Water Forum Conference) that demanded considerable state security. It was mostly not disruptive to me other than once I was held back from approaching the front of the hotel to valet parking while returning with my rental car as a major motorcade was disembarking at the hotel (20 cars or more). Generally I did not feel put out and in actuallity was probably the safest I have ever been in my life I would guess. Room amenities were great and comfortable. I would have preferred the bed to be a lsofter and more luxurious. Not bad, but a little hard on the hips for my taste.

Stayed at the Royal tulip when I traveled with a group going to abadiania, Brazil January 2011 This hotel is upscale and worth every penny. The rooms are gorgeous and very clean. Food was ok but being in a different country it was expected. Service was excellent
