« Graceful service »

Simple clean room, steps to the 6 train station, delightful bakery around the corner, staff extremely helpful We enjoyed a street market on Friday several blocks long on both sides of the street. Gare de Lyons is near.

« Small room but a good stay »

This hotel is well maintained, rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and it is close to the subway and the Gare de Lyon train station. It was also really quiet (I was on 6th floor which helped). The only thing I didn't like is the small size of the room. I know it's usual (and legal for a 4 stars hotel) in Paris but that's still annoying. Also, there is no fridge/mini bar. Overall, a pretty good stay there!

« Comfortable stay »

The hotel very very comfortable! Nice pillows and bed, nice room and interior of the downstairs lobby. Breakfast is extra payment of €14 pp and we planned to eat out anyway. The channels on TV were all French, so there could have been a couple of other channels in English, but we didn't mind watching the others. Lovely shower room and separate toilet!! One thing that wasn't positive was having the pay the city tax at the end - we already paid our tax at the beginning and was told we were. A board at the desk shows how much the daily tax is and this is paid at the hotel. However, we were told that we've paid it to then not paying it. A confusion there, so check this if you book here. Don't let this out you off as its a great hotel with friendly staff and it has a metro station right outside and another several minutes walk up the road from the hotel! This was easy to use to get into Central Paris which takes up to 30 minutes generally, depending where you want to go.

« Love this hotel »

We love this hotel and this was our second time at this hotel. I must say the hotel seemed more organized when manager Valquiria was there. This time around she wasnt there and we did feel a difference. Valquiria was great when we were there for the first time. We missed her this time. However, the rooms are clean and confortable. The rooms dont have a minibar. I think a minibar in the room is essential so you can buy some food and drinks at the supermarket. Location is good. We really like this hotel.

« Affordable and well located »

The best thing about this hotel is that you can be on a metro train one minute after walking out the front door. Obviously this then gives you access to the whole of the city. Stayed here for four days and was taken by how quiet it was, I know Parisians generally leave the city in August but you would still expect to here a great deal of traffic noise in this location. The rooms were pretty much silent. Breakfast was a little disappointing as there hot offerings of sausage, bacon and egg were barely warm. After two days of trying I opted for the continental spread which was much better. The room is clean and comfortable and was pleasantly surprised to find tea/coffee making facilities which are so often missing in french hotels. Shop around to get a good price and you won't go wrong.
