« Relaxing family holiday. Lovely hotel in general. »

It's near the airport and the hotel provides airport shuttle which I recommend booking. Don't get hassled at the airport by taxi drivers. Someone the hotel contacts will come and personally help you - he helped us with my entry visa and he helped us get through all the queue and with our luggage and then on he leaves us with the driver to take us to the hotel. Helpful staff from the minute you get off the bus. We were checked in on the nd floor. The girls at reception were great and informative - just wish they could have a more cheery attitude to feel a bit less awkward at check in but this is just a personal opinion as I know what it's like to be a hotel receptionist. Not a fan of the fact you have to provide American dollars for deposit - as I am from the UK why would I carry around dollars - (make sure to have some for your entry visa as they will only take dollars) We received a free upgrade to rooms that had large balconies and couldn't be more delighted as this was a surprise stay / gift for my husband's Egyptian family. Lovely pool area with seating areas. Great staff always around to cater to your needs. Great place for drinks with family and friends. Good selection of restaurants. While we were here - We witnessed a concert with famous singers and a big glamourous wedding. Good night entertainment - they have a stage for live music. Great housekeeping staff - the room was always clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was good - good selection buffet and staff will provide tea and coffee.. Just a little pricey per person. Great gym - my husband couldn't stop praising the gym equipment. The only negative thing I have to say is there's no shops/ supermarkets nearby or on site.. no pharmacy etc. But the hotel staff said if there was anything you needed they would go out and get it for you which I thought was nice of them. It was a bit remote - far from cairo city centre so it does take you a while to get into cairo city centre or to see the attractions. I would recommend booking with a tour / guides etc. as there is no easy access to taxis or easy access to anywhere in fact. BUT, the hotel does provide free shuttle buses to the nearby malls which is better than nothing. And of course to avoid people hassling you to buy things yes definitely book with a tour company to see attractions. Overall I find this a great hotel for relaxing and families. Lovely hotel indeed.

« An amazing oasis in Cairo »

What a great hotel, staff is wonderful, service is fabulous, lovely garden & swimming pool to rest and relax. I would go back anytime. In the midst of the craziness of Cairo, this truly is an amazing place to spend a couple of days. See you next year!

« Professional staff »

Was here for a 3 day workshop. Pros- friendly reception with a glass of complementary juice, clean rooms, fresh and well prepared meals, conducive conference venue, complimentary airport and town shuttle available. There is also variety of resturants within compound. Generally, put effort to ensure guests are comfortable Cons- close to airport but away from town and other tourist sites of interest. Had booked limousine service but car was not available nor was I informed as agreed, so I guess they may have had plenty of work that day as they seemed efficient . Two beds in room instead of double bed that I prefer I would recommend hotel for workshops and meetings because of services and atmosphere.

« Great Hotel near airport »

Every time we need to stay in Cairo near the airport we book this wonderful great hotel. They provide a shuttle from/to Cairo airport - the staff are very professional and friendly. The hotel is extremely clean and has a very nice outdoor terrace where you can sit and relax. It's a classic antique type of hotel - they say it used to belong to one of the kings of Egypt...Would definitely recommend.
