GOLDEN TULIP ZEVENBERGEN - 4-star hotel

Golden Tulip Zevenbergen Exterior View

Just a short walk from the city centre of Zevenbergen, the Golden Tulip has a position to suit both business and leisure travellers, and enjoys the benefits of being close to the Moerdijk business park and the shopping and activities offered by the nearby cities Antwerp and Breda. There are 75 4 star rooms at the Golden Tulip Zevenbergen and a restaurant called De 7Bergsche Hoeve, which is located in a beautiful farmhouse. Amenities sure to appeal to guests include free Wi-Fi and a fitness centre.

The 75 rooms and suites are all equipped with free Wi-Fi access, climate control, flat screen TVs, desks and safes. The room types range from Superior to Executive Suites, so there should be something to suit every type and length of stay from fleeting stop-overs to longer business trips. The Executive Suites have Jacuzzis and a separate living room, so they're great for a guest who might like a few luxuries in their 4 star hotel room.

The farmhouse restaurant, De 7Bergsche Hoeve, serves delicious meals with a French influence. If you're feeling guilty over a little over indulgence however, you can head for a workout in the fitness centre. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the whole hotel including in the meeting rooms, and there are plenty of onsite parking spaces for guests to use, too.

You can walk to the city centre of Zevenbergen from your 4 star hotel room in a matter of minutes and the Moerdijk business park is less than a kilometre away. Also in the immediate area is the National Park de Biesbosch, a lovely scenic place to hike or cycle around. The ancient cities of Willemstad and Bergen op Zoom are nearby, and the shopping of Breda and Antwerp is within a short drive.

« fab festive break »

stayed here with Leger travel for christmas in a junior suite which was spacious, warm and comfortable with underfloor heating, there was a fridge and a safe at no extra charge, as we didnt want coffee they promptly supplied us with a kettle and also at the same time gave us extra hangers, there was a free bottle of water in the fridge (rather expensive-£6-in the restaurant but it was a large bottle so we took it in turns to buy it at mealtimes and shared it )there was a good choice of hot and cold food at the buffet breakfast-delicious fresh fruit salad, we had a choice of meat or fish for the main course at dinner- all food was high quality, generous portions and beautifully presented, and one of the staff would always come to tell us what we were eating. the hotel had stunning christmas decorations with the staff wearing christmas jumpers.everyone was friendly and helpful. the little town was no more than 10 minutes walk away straight along the main road with shops open on christmas eve from 12 to 5,Santa was in the market square with free gluhwein, soup or coffee and biscuits. 6 of us went together on christmas eve to the midnight service which was lovely. the only disappointment was that although the hotel guide gave instructions for phoning the uk when we tried we were told there was no outside line- quite upsetting not being able to contact family on christmas day.

« Nice hotel with clean rooms and good breakfast »

I stayed here for a business meeting in Moerdijk. The rooms are clean and very functional. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very good and the internet requires no password and stays live as long as you are in the hotel. The only drawback is that you need to walk about 15 mins to the city Center to find meals if the restaurant is not open (only open on weekday dinner).
