« Everything we wanted »

Ideal location, ten minute walk to old town, but in the cool Kazimierz area, with restaurants and cafes nearby (including Nolio right opposite the hotel, which is a fab pizza restaurant!). Also close to Spar shop for bottles of water etc and an ATM. Helpful staff - got extra pillows and iron and ironing board. Left luggage before check in and after check out. Very good selection at breakfast. Outside area was great and enjoyable in the nice weather, with an excellent drinks menu. Hotel and room was modern and stylish.

« This Hotel is really really good »

I stayed at this hotel last October and again last week in early May, it’s spotlessly clean and the rooms are very modern and comfy - we went to autzwich early one morning before the breakfast had started and asked on the off chance if reception could do a breakfast to go - they provided 6 packed breakfasts with 2 ham and 2 cheese rolls in each bag, yogurt, fruit, drink and cereal bar - it was really nice and way above what we thought they would do put in, we were very grateful - this hotel was great both stays - highly recommended 👍🏻

« Beautiful Krakow »

My daughter and myself stayed for two nights, at the Golden Tulip Hotel Kazimierz, last week, two days is not enough in this beautiful city. Lovely weather, like as summers day at the end of April, great for walking round the city. Our room was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel, very quite never heard anybody, our room was spacious but simple, two single beds, which I found comfortable, small bathroom, with toiletries, in Krakow, you are hardly in your room just to sleep. The hotels breakfast had hot and cold food which was exceptable and all the coffee you could drink. The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere, in fact the whole of Krakow is. Liked the Jewish area we stayed in, only ten minutes to the stunning castle, which is a must, and 20 minutes walk to the old town, all beautiful. I only have two small niggles one the hotel should have proper maps of Krakow, in the foyer, available for guests, and maybe one English channel, after a long walk around the City, would be nice just to chill and watch abit of television. So I would like to thank all the staff for a lovely stay at The Golden Tulip, and hope in the future to return to the wonderful city Krakow.

« A lovely stay for a birthday celebration »

I was given a three night stay in Krakow for my 40th Birthday in January from my husband. It was a place I’d always wanted to visit and it did not disappoint. We weren’t my originally booked into the Golden Tulip, we were booked into a sister hotel further out of the city in the Old Town. But when we got there they had a school party turn up with more guests than expected, so we were offered a free transfer to their upgraded 4* hotel, The Golden Tulip, right in the middle of the Jewish Quarter. They ordered a taxi for us and it was covered by the hotel. On arrival we were immediately impressed. The foyer/reception is modern and fresh with a lovely bunch of yellow tulips on the reception desk. We were greeted warmly by staff and check in quickly and efficiently. A member of staff helped with our cases to our room and was quick to tell us we had fallen on our feet with this hotel transfer. 😊 The room was modern, clean with television, air con and toiletries available. A downside for me, was there was no bath. After a long day walking around the city, I would have loved a soak in hot bath to ease my aching limbs. Shower was nice, I just personally prefer a bath on an evening. The view out of the room window wasn’t great either, we faced a brick wall, but the room was still light and if we looked to the left we could see the tower of the elaborate town hall. It was perfect location. 10 minutes walk to Wawel Castle and another 5 to the Market Square. The weather was amazing all week so that walk was always very pleasant. Breakfast in the hotel was lovely. A massive selection of cold and hot food and drinks. Always a great start to our day. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Krakow and would recommend the hotel to others.
