Saving points

As a Flavours member you are awarded Flavours points for the reservation value of your stay with Golden Tulip Hotels, Suites & Resorts (at eligible rates) across the 3 brands: Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip and Royal Tulip Luxury Hotels.
Just present your membership card upon check-out and the points will be credited to your account within 7 days.

For 3 main currencies the number of points have already been set. For all other currencies, the exchange rate equivalent to the euro is being used.

As a Flavours member you save points on all reservations made through GoldenTulip.com and all other Golden Tulip websites, the toll free reservation numbers and directly booked with the hotels.

With the exception of long stay rates and leisure packages, all rates offered via the above mentioned reservations methods are eligible for Flavours points. The number of points is based on your room reservation value and is credited on your personal account upon check-out.

Eligble rates

You can save points on the reservation value of your stay on all rates except:

  • Airline & travel agency employee rates
  • Coupons & Vouchers
  • All prepaid rates (including tour operator and internet rates)
  • Group rates
  • Internet rates not booked on Golden Tulip official websites
  • Package & specially negotiated long stay rates

The amount of points is based on the reservation value of your stay. Just give your membership card upon check-out and your account will be credited automatically.

Validity of points

Depending on your membership level, your accumulated Flavours points expire should you not stay at any of the participating hotels within a certain period of time.

Advanced Membership

Your balance of points will become zero (0) if you have not stayed at one of the participating properties at eligible rates for a consecutive period of 12 months. The starting period of the 12 months is every time the departure date of your last stay at eligible rates in participating hotels. Example: You have checked out on the 1st of July 2013 and these points have been credited onto your account. If you have not stayed at any of the participating hotels by the 1st of July 2014 at eligible rates, your balance of points will become zero (0).

Silver Membership

Your balance of points will become zero (0) if you have not stayed at one of the participating properties at eligible rates for a consecutive period of 18 months. The starting period of the 18 months is every time the departure date of your last stay at eligible rates in participating hotels. Example: You have checked out on the 1st of July 2013 and these points have been credited onto your account. If you have not stayed at any of the participating hotels by the 1st of January 2015 at eligible rates, your balance of points will become zero (0).

Gold Membership

Your balance of points will become zero (0) if you have not stayed at one of the participating properties at eligible rates for a consecutive period of 24 months. The starting period of the 24 months is every time the departure date of your last stay at eligible rates in participating hotels. Example: You have checked out on the 1st of July 2013 and these points have been credited onto your account. If you have not stayed at any of the participating hotels by the 1st of July 2015 at eligible rates, your balance of points will become zero (0).


With the reservation value of your stay we mean the original selling price of your reservation. All taxes applied to the room rate which are not included in the original selling price, all food and beverage, catering or banquet functions billed to the room account or any other incidentals do not qualify for Flavours points. Kindly note that Flavours points are only offered on eligible rates.
