On March 25 , 1977, the Tulip Inn Amsterdam Centre ( before Hotel Terminus ) opened its doors. Its present address Beurstraat 11-19 ( main entrance ) and Warmoesstraat 74-84 is a series of historical buildings built on different periods during the late 19th century. Each builing features its own unique staircase. Warmoesstraat 74-78 was rebuilt using the original 1875 foundation. Beursstraat 19 and Warmoesstraat 84 is one contiguous building and has always been a hotel. It first opened under the name Hotel Amsterdam and later as Het Wapen van Friesland . Other builings were used as private residences or offices. Beursstraat 11-13 used to be a Lingerie and Pyajama factory calles Favoriet .
